The Craziest Drone Video Of London
A young lad gets the new Phantom 4 Drone and takes it on a Birds Eye view of London. By Bird’s Eye I mean a Pigeon because this video gets close to every sight. This does look like one of the more crazier drone videos of London or of any city online. This clip was posted to YouTube yesterday on the account of Paul John Raptis but was later removed. According to online sources, he has been unreachable for interview or comments on this video. The pilot in question has been stated by many as breaking “every rule in the book”
The drone hovers above Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Tower Bridge as well as coming close to flying over Buckingham Palace. Given the close proximity to each location and the security risks you can definitely call this the Craziest Drone Video of London, possibly ever.
At one point the footage shows the device climbing the full 310m height of the Shard, western Europe’s tallest building.
The UK Civil Aviation Authority guidelines for flying “safely and legally” include making sure your UAV never flies higher than 400ft. The Shard is more than 1,000ft high, the tallest building in London and England. They also say that drones fitted with cameras must not be flown within 50m of people, vehicles, buildings or structures, or over congested areas.
Here is an uncrazy video of London at night by Drone.
And for a bit of a Northside vibe, here’s one of Kilmore Road from myself.
